Mary Johnson, MD
A lifelong Memphian, Dr. Mary Katherine Johnson earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Memphis and completed her medical degree and residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where she served as Chief Resident and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. She is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
Drawn to women’s health from the start of medical school, Dr. Johnson is passionate about providing personal, comprehensive care through every stage of a woman’s life. Her clinical interests include adolescent to menopausal care, low- and high-risk obstetrics, contraception, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgeries such as laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and robotic procedures.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, the outdoors, cheering on the Memphis Tigers and Grizzlies, and spending time with her husband, Andy, and their golden retriever, T-bone.
